Thanks pal 🧡 Although I'd say I'm a *passionate* person, I think most people would also describe me as rather stoic. I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve and although it shouldn't have been a surprise I have been *very taken aback* by how difficult this has been emotionally for the past year. Definitely thought I could compartmentalize and do the whole "it's just a dog" thing but I....definitely can't.
I think that’s part of why it felt so special to hear you speak to it directly 💕 & Of course you can’t just say “well he’s just a dog”! He’s a member of your family, and you probably see him more than you see almost anyone else in your life. No need to pretend it’s easier than it is -- you are among dog lovers here 🥰
