Last call for "Hydrating Habits" + what to read, watch, listen to and enjoy...
Those of you who have been here more than a minute know that hydration has been a true passion of mine for well over a decade. Learning how to properly hydrate changed my life nearly 14 years ago and I never looked back.
Through Hydrating Habits I combine my passion for hydration with my skills as a systems and efficiency expert and Mayo Clinic Trained Wellness Coach to help you slowly build new, hydrating habits that last.
Tomorrow is the start of Hydrating Habits — my two-week online workshop focused on hydration for improved cognition 🧠 and increased energy ⚡. Enrollment closes in 24 hours and I would love to have you join me!
Here’s a quick summary of what you need to know:
📚 You’ll get immediate access to an eBook along with three short video lessons that you can watch at your own pace — whenever it works for you! You’ll learn about how hydration works in your body, the habits that will help keep you hydrated (it’s about so much more than “just drinking water”!), and explore my favorite recipes for fun, delicious drinks!
📧 Beginning tomorrow, September 14th, you’ll get one email from me each day for two weeks. These emails help reinforce what you’ve learned and offer gentle encouragement to help you build consistency with hydration.
👩🏻🏫 You can reply to any of my emails, or comment on the video lessons and I will respond to your questions and requests within 24 hours.
💲 The workshop costs $49 per person.
So whaddaya say? Are ya in? I’m excited to spend the next two weeks with an incredible group of people talking about one of my favorite topics! Hope to see ya there.

P.S. Got questions about the workshop? Just hit reply to this email and I’ll get back to you shortly!
📚 READ: I’m not going to pretend like I know that much about Bitcoin because I absolutely do not — but I gotta say that finding out that Bitcoin Mining Farms are causing entire communities to experience serious health complications was a big surprise to me. This article from Time is worth reading, “We’re Living in a Nightmare: Inside the Health Crisis of a Texas Bitcoin Town.”
Another read rec for this week! Following this week’s debate between Harris and Trump, I have found Heather Cox Richardson’s summaries from the days following to be great breakdowns of what happened during the debate as well as its impact and aftermath. Read them here: September 10, September 11, September 12.
📺 WATCH: Lee Miller was a famous American War Correspondent (she was also a Vogue model!), who famously photographed herself in Hitler’s bathtub on the day of this death, an image that became a visual metaphor for the end of WWII. Kate Winslet is starring as Lee in the biopic which debuts in theaters this month. Watch the trailer here:
🎧 LISTEN: Lists help organize the chaos of the world — for good and for bad! This episode of This American Life explores some of the various ways lists are used — from end-of-life goals to government surveillance. Loved these conversations! Listen here or wherever you listen to podcasts.
🧡 ENJOY: Wanted to share this Minnesota-based letterpress company, Bench Pressed, that is not just making cute election merch but is also a force for good (we do love companies with aligned values, yes we do)! I’m dying over these “Look Out For Your Neighbor” yard signs, their “Mind Your Own Damn Business” Tee, and these “Mind Your Own Damn Business” stickers. I definitely placed an order immediately!
