Can't wait to hear more! I also grew up analog. In the past year I have been slowly creating online holding areas for personal/life information. As I age, it's harder to remember everything and having it online makes it more searchable and therefore easier to find/remember.

I’m really looking forward to learning about how you integrate it all in a sustainable way.

I'm excited for this. I've been slowly trying to figure out a digital organization system but ever since having kids my organization has been relying on my downloads folder. I'm better at work, but at home it's a free for all!

why did you have to write

"Were created by (white) men"

[1] you don't like white people as customers

[2] you don't want men as customers

fine by me, I am a white man, so 2 strikes

I just downloaded the substack app (what took me so long) because I subscribed to yours! Looking forward to another great year and our next monthly review day.

I was resistant to the idea of "one more app" but I love the calm and peace of sitting down and reading longform content created by some of my favorite people. Just a totally different pace from Instagram or Tiktok and I appreciate it SO much! Even though I know all of this lives in my email inbox, the convenience of opening the app and seeing everything I subscribe to organized there is SO nice and kinda scratches that Social Media Dopamine need 🤣 See you in a couple weeks!

When you talked about how your reading habits had changed, I was intrigued. Hoping to have a shift in my reading (more) and less scrolling and skimming.
