Hello from France + what to read, watch, listen to and enjoy...
Hello from the south of France where I’ve been enjoying spring break with my husband and mother-in-law!
The three of us have now visited three new countries together: Italy in 2018, Iceland in 2021, and now France!
We often get asked about missing our families while living abroad — and while the distance does make things hard sometimes (no doubt about it!) I try to remind myself of the amazing experiences we’ve gotten to have (we’ve traveled to Spain, Norway, and Germany with my mom, too!) that we might not have gotten if we hadn’t relocated.
The extra vacation time provided to us in Denmark also makes a huge difference in the amount of time we’re able to spend with our families here or when visiting home, and it feels easier to truly appreciate each opportunity we have to see them. So if this is something that has held you back about moving abroad, consider that even though there are things you’ll miss — there are also adventures and experiences you wouldn’t otherwise get.

I love this concept because it takes a topic that is often (purposefully) confusing and breaks it down into clear warning signs that anyone can recognize. Learn more about the book here.📺 WATCH: Online influencers who monetize their content and profit off exposing their children online have been a hot topic for nearly a decade already — and, Bad Influence, a new documentary on Netflix, takes you inside a “kid content factory” where young kids were exploited for years by one woman. The statistics on the percentage of adult men who follow accounts like this was jarring and so alarming. Watch the trailer here:
🎧 LISTEN: Been a minute since I recommended Atomic Habits, one of my favorite books about habit formation! While I’ve read it through a couple of times, I also love it in audio format! It “reads” like a long podcast episode and is a great way to process the information. Plus, it’s available with Spotify Premium Subscriptions!
