THE WEEKLY PAGE 📝 No. 191
My fav hydration recipes + this week's picks for work, wellness, and wonder.
Anyone who has been around here for more than 3 minutes knows that I looooove talking about hydration. It’s one of the easiest, fastest, and most affordable ways for us to transform how we look, feel, and perform — and you can start right now with no specific skills or training 😉
My group program, The Daily Method, kicked off last Sunday, and this week’s lesson is all about hydration. I think it’s a bummer that hydration has gotten a reputation for being “boring”, and that a lot of people give up on it because they feel like it only counts if you are chugging 100+ ounces of plain water a day.
To help my students push back against that myth, I provided them with a PDF with a couple of my favorite hydrating recipes — proof that hydration can be fun….and delicious.
I thought you might enjoy having it, too. They are both beverages that I mention often, but have never organized the info in an easy-to-grab way before. This 3-page PDF has recipes for Morning Water, Hydration Potion, and a cheat sheet for my favorite infused waters.
Since the last few weeks were pretty hectic and overwhelming for many of us — I extended enrollment for the program. So if you’re still thinking of joining us, you can learn more and jump in here.
Happy Hydrating!
⏰ENJOY: This little tool is one of the most used things in my office, and I’ve used it consistently for a couple years already. It’s a small clock/timer that I use for timing focus sessions + breaks during my workday. You just rotate the hexagon to one of the 6 sides and it will automatically start a timer for that duration. When in the neutral position, it acts as a clock. Available in various colors. Order one on Amazon ($19).
💻LEARN: I love using Google Docs to organize my life + business, and I’m willing to bet that you didn’t know about at least a COUPLE of these tips! So much color-coding, organization, and time-saving tips. Head this way to check out 10 Google Doc Features that Will Change Your Life.
🍜ENJOY: We got a craving for spicy noodles last weekend, so we tried out this recipe. And it was so good that we’ve made it a total of three times already this week (should we be embarrassed?!) We added crispy ground pork and some additional vegetables (broccoli, green beans, extra hot peppers!). I’d say that the base recipe is relatively mild (for our standards) but if you add your favorite hot peppers + chili paste you can make it as spicy as you want. I appreciate that it’s a simple and fast version. Get the recipe here.
🔍LEARN: An ongoing issue in the current environment — particularly with multiple wars unfolding — is disinformation and misinformation. A lot of photos from other places and conflicts are currently being misattributed to Ukraine and Gaza. The investigative journalism agency known as Bellingcat recently created this guide for “Separating Fact from Fiction On Social Media in Times of Conflict” and it has really helpful, step-by-step directions for how you can use readily available tools to verify images and videos before sharing. See the guide here.

I’m excited to try the spicy noodle recipe! Love the suggestion for adding veggies too!
